How to choose a high bay light supplier?

Time:2022-08-18 Views:585

1. Product experience

When we choose a supplier, we must give top priority to inspecting the supplier's product experience, that is to say, to confirm whether the factory produces high bay lights or other products?

This principle is the same as buying snacks: a high-end and atmospheric five-star hotel may not be able to make pancakes and rice noodles that you like to eat, but some old-fashioned shops can. So don't think that if a factory looks spacious and bright, it can make high bay lights, and don't think that if a factory produces street lights for a long time, it will be able to make high bay lights. Because the high bay light has its special use environment, it needs a different parts supply chain. A factory that focuses on the field of high bay lights will have those precipitations, and master those tips that may reduce your product quality problems by 80%.

2. Factory facilities

High bay lamps are relatively large lamps, and SMD light sources are often used (the management difficulty is different from that of COB). Generally, the pure screwdriver factory is not acceptable. But it doesn't necessarily have to be very expensive equipment. I think the following devices are more important:

Aging racks: One point is to see whether the factory has aging racks, whether the number matches the production capacity, and a very important point is: whether the aging racks are really being used. The ones that are actually in use can generally be seen, at least it is convenient for personnel to take out the lamps, and there is not much dust, and there will be a whole batch of lamps aging.

Basic electrical parameter measuring instruments: These generally do not cost much, and are generally available in factories.

Basic safety test instruments: These are not expensive, and many factories have these instruments. But some factories are mere formalities, and the employees at the grassroots level do not know how to use them!

Optical inspection equipment: these are the best. If not, it is also possible to have corresponding third-party testing resources.

3. Factory quality management

This one still requires some experience. As mentioned above, high-end atmosphere, spaciousness and brightness are not necessarily good, but in fact, the on-site management of many small and medium-sized factories does not look good but can make good products. Therefore, when looking at the quality management level of a factory, it is necessary to grasp some key points, such as: the storage of raw materials, the management of in-process products, and the control of static electricity.

4. Product subdivision types

The first point above has already mentioned product experience, it is best to focus on the field of high bay lights. But in fact, there are also different types of high bay lights. As far as I can think of now, there are at least the following three categories: die-casting; fins; profiles.

Why do we need such segmentation? This is mainly to save product development time and reduce costs. Because every high bay light factory has its inherent supply chain advantages.

For example: the factory has its own die-casting factory; the factory buys profiles for a long time, the support of the profile suppliers is very strong, and the price is advantageous; the factory has low cost of fins, sufficient supply, and can be shipped at any time; if you find A (die-casting is (main) Buying a profiled product, A will not necessarily take care of you, because he knows that he is not strong in that area, and A will not be your best choice.
