In winter, sufficient lighting duration of lithium battery solar street lamps shall be ensured

The sunlight slowly moves towards the Tropic of Cancer, and winter has quietly arrived. Lithium battery solar street lamps are a kind of outdoor lighting products that use solar energy to generate electricity. When the weather changes in winter, the days should be short and the nights long, and the temperature is too low. Many people cannot avoid worrying about the impact of solar street lamps on weekday lighting. So, how to ensure that solar street lamps have sufficient lighting duration in winter?

1、 Illumination standard

In fact, compared with summer, the compressive strength and duration of light are reduced in winter, and sunlight still exists. In summer, because the light is easy to use, you can store a full grid of electricity in two or three hours. In winter, due to the influence of the lighting standard, the battery duration will be increased correspondingly. However, if the lighting duration is sufficient, the battery can also be fully charged.

2、 Buried battery

Nowadays, most of the solar street lamps use lithium batteries, which can withstand low temperatures and can be integrated into the ultra-low temperature of - 40 ℃. The low temperature resistance of battery is far less than that of lithium battery, and the road surface is cold. Some buried battery solar street lamps must pay attention to safety protection in winter. If the battery is buried too shallow, it is likely to cause the rechargeable battery to be cold, so the battery must be buried at least one meter deep underground.

3、 Snow on solar panels

It is not possible to prevent snow in winter. It is not easy for light cold or sleet to affect the normal application of solar panels. However, in case of snow or heavy snowstorms, measures should be taken, because snow will cover the solar photovoltaic panels, which will produce dark shadow areas, leading to uneven conversion of solar photovoltaic panels and affecting the efficiency of power generation. Therefore, snow removal is one of the ways to ensure sufficient lighting duration of lithium battery solar street lamps in winter.
