There are three main methods for LED fluorescent light to achieve white light, but they are not completely mature, which seriously affects the application of white light LED in the field of lighting:


The first method is: painted yellow fluorescent powder that can be excited by Blu -ray on the blue LED chip. The blue light and fluorescent powder emitted by the chip to send out the yellow light of the street light manufacturer to form a white light. A principle disadvantage of a species is that the lapsee of CE3 + ions in the fluorescent body does not have continuous spectral characteristics, poor color rendering, and difficult to meet the requirements of low -color temperature lighting. At the same time, the lighting efficiency is not high enough. Fluorescence powder is improved.


The second method is to apply green and red fluorescent powder on the blue LED chip, and the green light and red light compounds from the blue light and fluorescent powder emitted by the chip to obtain the white light. The conversion efficiency of fluorescent powder used is low, and the efficiency of street light manufacturers, especially red fluorescent powder, requires a significant improvement, so the promotion is also slow.


The third method: apply triple -color or multi -color fluorescent powder on the purple light or ultraviolet light LED chip, and use the chip's long wave ultraviolet light (370nm -380nm) or purple light (380nm -410Nm) to stimulate the fluorescent powder. In order to achieve white light launch, the color rendering of this kind of LED is better, but there are problems similar to the second method, and the current red and green fluorescent powder with high conversion efficiency is mostly sulfide systems. Such fluorescent powder is shining and stable. Poor sexuality and large light failure, so it has not been used in batches.
